I am so thrilled to be taking part in the 2020 Hobbycraft Crochet Along (cal).
Hobbycraft celebrates July every year as ‘Granny Square Month’ showcasing the many ways that a humble granny square can be used to create some stunning projects – head over to their Ideas Hub to grab some free patterns and inspiration. You can find one of my exclusive designs there too for this cute Granny Square Baby Romper – the possibilities really are endless with granny squares!
So what is this CAL all about?
Well, throughout the month of July, Hobbycraft will release a new pattern for a granny square designed by a new designer each day – that is – 25 days, 25 designs so you will have 25 squares ready to seam together by the end of the 25 days. (The remaining days of July are for blocking, seaming and bordering). It is so much fun being part of a CAL, and you don’t have to use any particular yarn – I’m actually going to crochet along too using up my DK stash!
And you will find my exclusive design on Day 2 of the CAL – in fact as I write this post it is the end of ‘my day’ and I have been blown away by the love for the design and all the squares popping up on my feed! Thanks for sharing them with me.
